# Current Milestones

CryptoShowdown is now in the final stages of development, with the core game essentially complete and ready for launch. We’re currently focused on gathering the resources necessary to ensure a strong, impactful release that captures the attention of the web3 community and beyond. The initial mint will take place on Solana, leveraging the chain’s popularity and low fees for an accessible player experience. With a targeted launch date in late 2024 to early 2025, CryptoShowdown is gearing up to make its mark as a unique, skill-driven game in the web3 gaming space.
